The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “To annex Ukraine to the Convention on the European Pharmacopoeia amended according to the provisions of the Protocol”

The Law will allow Ukraine obtain full membership in this body and the right to vote. Ukraine possesses the status of an observer in the European Pharmacopoeia Commission.

Annexing Ukraine to the abovementioned Convention will enable state regulatory bodies participate in the development of European quality standards in medicine and influence European policy in the sphere of medicine regulation.

The respective bill was registered under No. 0277.
